Guy's Bio - Part 2

Guy studied classical piano from Ramundo Marquez II for 13 years. He went on to college to study music composition while playing in numerous rock bands.

• "I really just wanted to write songs, but my piano teacher suggested that I learn how to play an instrument first -- which made sense, even to a 5-year-old kid."

It would be about 14 years before Guy would write his first piano instrumental, simply titled, "Rain".

• "I wrote Rain in 3 phases. The main theme started out as an exercise to help me learn broken chords and it somehow turned into an instrumental. The second part, where I change time signatures and tempo came next, and the Intro came a few years later."
