Here's the video of the entire solo piano arrangement of "One Moment In Time".

I'm still working on the video of the last section of the song. There are also a few complex rhythmical passages that I'm going to put on video as well.

One of the things I ask my more advanced students to do is to follow the sheet music as you watch the video.

It's rare to have sheet music that matches the recording note-for-note.

Being able to follow along will help your rhythm dramatically. I can't stress enough the benenfits of following the sheet music note-for-note as you listen to the recording.

So grab a cup of coffee, sit back and just listen. Making this a part of your regular practice session is good, especially on those days where you don't get a lot of seat time at the piano.

MP3 - One Moment In Time - solo piano

Hi Jane,

Here is the intro, verse and chorus for "One Moment In Time" with both hands. The sheet music link is directly above the video.

I changed the left hand part in measure's 24 and 35. When I make a revision to one hand, it tends to lead to a change in the other hand.

This is such a great song and I want to get it right, which is why this song may take a little longer to arrange. Some songs, like "How Great Thou Art" fall right in to place.

"One Moment In Time" is a fairly simple song, but sometimes it's the simple songs that require the most work.

• I changed the time signature to 2/4 in measure 38, and in measure 39 I changed the time signature back to 4/4, however, I forgot to get rid of the fermata over the Fmaj7 chord, so the last chord is going to sustain for a while....just ignore the fermata.

I will try to get you a live recording this week so you can get an idea of the real feel of the song.

And lastly, you can take some liberties with the rhythm coming out of the Intro...maybe a fermata on the last note in the left hand in measure 5 before the lyrics begin.
